Today is the last day of school for many students and the beginning of the highly anticipated summer break. Summertime always brings back fond memories of hanging out by the pool, family vacations and homemade ice cream. To celebrate, Playa Vista has lined up eight fun events in June that includes concerts, craft night, a beach party and a movie in the park. This series of summer activities begins today with a Surprise Pop-Up this afternoon from 1-4 p.m. at the Sports Park. The theme is; “Treat yourself to something sweet to celebrate the end of the school year!”
